The son of a Middle Eastern father and Midwestern mother, Sam fell in love with movies at an early age, carrying that passion forward into grad school; where he studied under Diana Botsford (the goddaughter of Isaac Asimov) and screenwriting mentor John Rice (WINDTALKERS, BLOWN AWAY).
A Kansas City native, Sam currently splits time between Denver and Los Angeles; where he continues to assemble a team of incredible filmmakers.
When not making movies, Sam loves hanging with his wife & kids, traveling the globe, and drinking as much life juice as possible...usually via rugby or skiing. Sam recently kicked cancer squarely in the ass.
